The Nevada Gaming Control Board Administration Division, with the Information Technology Section, is
seeking qualified applicants for a Help Dek / Electronic Technician. This is an unclassified full-time position
within the State of Nevada system.

Recruitment: This is an open recruitment, open to all qualified persons.

Salary Range: up to $67,711 (Employee-Employer Paid)
up to $59,395 (Employer Paid)

The POSITION:
This position is under immediate supervision of a Senior Network Specialist, the incumbent is responsible for
primary help desk support for all board offices. The position will be involved in network server and desktop
support for all board operations. This position requires enterprise IT helpdesk experience, networking
experience, proficiency with VMware virtualization, Microsoft and Linux operating systems. In support of the
Technology Division, this position will perform gaming device and gaming associated equipment verification
services, assist in the maintenance of the gaming device and gaming associated equipment verification
services assist in the maintenance of the gaming device and gaming associated equipment image repository,
investigating gaming patron complaints and disputes Performs related work assignments as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited College or University with an Associates' Degree in computer science,
management information, electronic technology or closely related field. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, plus
one to two years of related work experience.
