Under general supervision, manage the Town’s emerging media presence to support and advance the internal and external communication initiatives of Town government. Develop informational and promotional initiatives using a variety of electronic printed and virtual media and channels. Position the Town as an authoritative, informative and innovative voice and resource for citizens and community groups.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree obtained, or currently pursuing, in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a closely related field, with at least one year of relevant work experience is required.
LICENSES: Requires a valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
NOTES: Must be able to pass a work related physical and drug test. The work of this position is primarily sedentary.
