What you will do: As the agency Administrator, you will have oversight of this semi-independent agency and carry out its mission, objectives, and goals. You will provide key leadership and direction under a professional regulatory board (ORS 182.454), and support the Board’s mission of public safety. You will oversee, implement, and execute Board laws, procedures, and policies. You will work in cooperation with the Board to exercise control over the strategic planning, goal setting, determining policy, and program management. Serve as the Board's liaison with the Legislature, Governor’s Office, Secretary of State’s Office, Department of Justice, Department of Administrative Services, Legislative Fiscal Office, and other high-level officials. You will also work closely with agency staff, providing communication and guidance as you oversee achievement of the agency’s short and long term goals.
